Leviticus 23:34–37

34 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: w‘The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord. 35 On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it. 36 For seven days you shall offer an xoffering made by fire to the Lord. yOn the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. Leviticus 23:34–37 — The New International Version (NIV)

34 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days. 35 The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work. 36 For seven days present food offerings to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the Lord.
