John 9:2–5

And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, awho sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

Jesus answered, Neither this man nor his parents sinned, bbut that the works of God should be revealed in him. cI 1must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is dday; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, eI am the light of the world.”

Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
