59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

1 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

59 At that point they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden from them and left the Temple.

1 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”

59 When Jesus said this, the people picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus hid himself, and then he left the Temple.

1 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been born blind. 2 His followers asked him, “Teacher, whose sin caused this man to be born blind—his own sin or his parents’ sin?”

59 They took up stones therefore to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.

59 Then some of the Jews picked up stones to throw at Jesus. However, Jesus was concealed, and he left the temple courtyard. 

1 As Jesus walked along, he saw a man who had been born blind. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, why was this man born blind? Did he or his parents sin?” 

59 At that, they picked up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple complex.

1 As He was passing by, He saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples questioned Him: “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

59 Then they picked up stones in order to throw them at him. But Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple courts.

1 And as he went away, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?”

59 When he said this, they picked up stones to kill him. But Jesus hid himself. He slipped away from the temple area.

1 As Jesus went along, he saw a man who was blind. He had been blind since he was born. 2 Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned? Was this man born blind because he sinned? Or did his parents sin?”

59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple.

2 And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?”
