5 cIf you would earnestly seek God

And make your supplication to the Almighty,

6 If you were pure and upright,

Surely now He would 2awake for you,

And prosper your rightful dwelling place.

7 Though your beginning was small,

Yet your latter end would dincrease abundantly.

Job 8:5–7 — The New International Version (NIV)

and plead with the Almighty,

if you are pure and upright,

even now he will rouse himself on your behalf

and restore you to your prosperous state.

Your beginnings will seem humble,

so prosperous will your future be.
