Genesis 8:21–9:1

21 And the Lord smelled ma soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again ncurse the ground for man’s sake, although the oimagination 1of man’s heart is evil from his youth; pnor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

22 “While the earth qremains,

Seedtime and harvest,

Cold and heat,

Winter and summer,

And rday and night

Shall not cease.”

9 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: a“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

Genesis 8:21–9:1 — The New International Version (NIV)

21 The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

22 “As long as the earth endures,

seedtime and harvest,

cold and heat,

summer and winter,

day and night

will never cease.”

Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
