Genesis 17:1–4
17 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord aappeared to Abram and said to him, b“I am 1Almighty God; cwalk before Me and be dblameless. 2 And I will make My ecovenant between Me and you, and fwill multiply you exceedingly.” 3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: 4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be ga father of 2many nations.

1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. 2 Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”
3 Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, 4 “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations.
