12 Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. Galatians 6:12–13 — English Standard Version (ESV)

Galatians 6:12–13 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

Galatians 6:12–13 — New Living Translation (NLT)

12 Those who are trying to force you to be circumcised want to look good to others. They don’t want to be persecuted for teaching that the cross of Christ alone can save. 13 And even those who advocate circumcision don’t keep the whole law themselves. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast about it and claim you as their disciples.

Galatians 6:12–13 — New Century Version (NCV)

12 Some people are trying to force you to be circumcised so the Jews will accept them. Galatians 6:12–13 — American Standard Version (ASV)

12 As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

Galatians 6:12–13 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

12 As many as desire to have a fair appearance in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted because of the cross of Christ. 13 For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

Galatians 6:12–13 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

12 These people who want to make a big deal out of a physical thing are trying to force you to be circumcised. Yet, they want you to be circumcised so that they can brag about what was done to your body.

Then they can brag about what has been done to your body.
