1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir; prophesy against it 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you and make you a desolate waste. 4 I will turn your towns into ruins and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 and say to it, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a waste. 4 I will lay your cities waste, and you shall become a desolation, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

1 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. 4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.

1 Again a message came to me from the Lord: 2 “Son of man, turn and face Mount Seir, and prophesy against its people. 3 Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord:

“I am your enemy, O Mount Seir,

and I will raise my fist against you

to destroy you completely.

4 I will demolish your cities

and make you desolate.

Then you will know that I am the Lord.

1 The Lord spoke his word to me, saying: 2 “Human, look toward Edom and prophesy against it. 3 Say to it: ‘This is what the Lord God says: I am against you, Edom. I will stretch out my hand against you and make you an empty desert. 4 I will destroy your cities, and you will become empty. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

1 Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee a desolation and an astonishment. 4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.

1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and I will make thee a desolation and an astonishment. 4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be a desolation: and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.

1 The Lord spoke his word to me. He said, 2 “Son of man, turn to Mount Seir, and prophesy against it. 3 Tell it, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: 

I’m against you, Mount Seir. 

I will use my power against you, 

and you will become a wasteland. 

4 I will turn your cities into ruins, 

and you will become a wasteland. 

Then you will know that I am the Lord. 

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, turn your face toward Mount Seir and prophesy against it. 3 Say to it: This is what the Lord God says:

Look! I am against you, Mount Seir.

I will stretch out My hand against you

and make you a desolate waste.

4 I will turn your cities into ruins,

and you will become a desolation.

Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 Mortal, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it, 3 and say to it, Thus says the Lord God:

I am against you, Mount Seir;

I stretch out my hand against you

to make you a desolation and a waste.

4 I lay your towns in ruins;

you shall become a desolation,

and you shall know that I am the Lord.

1 And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against the mountain of Seir and prophesy against it, 3 and you must say to it, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Look! I am against you, mountain of Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a wasteland. 4 Your cities I will make ruins, and you will be a desolation, and then you will know that I am Yahweh,

1 A message came to me from the Lord. He said, 2 “Son of man, turn your attention to Mount Seir. Prophesy against it. 3 Tell it, ‘The Lord and King says, “Mount Seir, I am against you. I will reach out my powerful hand against you. I will turn you into a dry and empty desert. 4 I will destroy your towns. Your land will become empty. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

1 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me saying,

2 “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it

3 and say to it, ‘Thus says the Lord God,

“Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir,

And I will stretch out My hand against you

And make you a desolation and a waste.

4 “I will lay waste your cities

And you will become a desolation.

Then you will know that I am the Lord.
