3 Tell this rebellious people a parable and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“ ‘Put on the cooking pot; put it on

and pour water into it.

3 And utter a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God:

“Set on the pot, set it on;

pour in water also;

3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:

3 Then give these rebels an illustration with this message from the Sovereign Lord:

“Put a pot on the fire,

and pour in some water.

3 And tell a story to the people who refuse to obey me. Say to them: ‘This is what the Lord God says:

Put on the pot; put it on

and pour water in it.

3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:

3 And propose a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Set on the pot, set it on, and also pour water into it.

3 Tell these rebellious people a story. Tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: 

Put the pot on the fire; put it on. 

Pour water in it. 

3 Now speak a parable to the rebellious house. Tell them: This is what the Lord God says:

Put the pot on the fire—

put it on,

and then pour water into it!

3 And utter an allegory to the rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God:

Set on the pot, set it on,

pour in water also;

3 And deliver a proverb to the rebellious house, and you must say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Place the pot! Place it and also pour water into it.

3 “Your people refuse to obey me. So tell them a story. Say to them, ‘The Lord and King told me,

“ ‘ “Put a cooking pot on the fire.

Pour water into it.

3 “Speak a parable to the rebellious house and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God,

“Put on the pot, put it on and also pour water in it;
