1 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the Lord has commanded you to do: 2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of sabbath rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it is to be put to death. 3 Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

4 Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze; 6 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; 7 ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather; acacia wood; 8 olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 9 and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.

Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. 3 You shall kindle no fire in all your dwelling places on the Sabbath day.”

4 Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, “This is the thing that the Lord has commanded. 5 Take from among you a contribution to the Lord. Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze; 6 blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; goats’ hair, 7 tanned rams’ skins, and goatskins; acacia wood, 8 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, 9 and onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.

1 Then Moses called together the whole community of Israel and told them, “These are the instructions the Lord has commanded you to follow. 2 You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day must be a Sabbath day of complete rest, a holy day dedicated to the Lord. Anyone who works on that day must be put to death. 3 You must not even light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath.”

4 Then Moses said to the whole community of Israel, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 Take a sacred offering for the Lord. Let those with generous hearts present the following gifts to the Lord:

gold, silver, and bronze;

6 blue, purple, and scarlet thread;

fine linen and goat hair for cloth;

7 tanned ram skins and fine goatskin leather;

acacia wood;

8 olive oil for the lamps;

spices for the anointing oil and the fragrant incense;

9 onyx stones, and other gemstones to be set in the ephod and the priest’s chestpiece.

1 Moses gathered all the Israelite community together and said to them, “These are the things the Lord has commanded you to do. 2 You are to work for six days, but the seventh day will be a holy day, a Sabbath of rest to honor the Lord. Anyone who works on that day must be put to death. 3 On the Sabbath day you must not light a fire in any of your houses.”

4 Moses said to all the Israelites, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Let everyone who is willing bring this offering to the Lord: gold, silver, bronze, 6 blue, purple and red thread, and fine linen, goat hair 7 and male sheepskins that are colored red. They may also bring fine leather, acacia wood, 8 olive oil for the lamps, spices for the special olive oil used for appointing priests and for the sweet-smelling incense, 9 onyx stones, and other jewels to be put on the holy vest and chest covering of the priests.

1 And Moses collected all the assembly of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the things which Jehovah has commanded, to do them. 2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to Jehovah: whoever does work on it shall be put to death. 3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings upon the sabbath day. 4 And Moses spoke to all the assembly of the children of Israel, saying, This is the word which Jehovah has commanded, saying, 5 Take from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah: every one whose heart is willing, let him bring it, Jehovah’s heave-offering—gold, and silver, and copper, 6 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats’ hair, 7 and rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and acacia-wood, 8 and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs; 9 and onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

1 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the Lord has commanded you to do: 2 You may work for six days, but the seventh day is a holy day of rest, a day when you don’t work. It is dedicated to the Lord. Whoever does any work on this day should be put to death. 3 Never light a fire in any of your homes on this day of rest.” 

4 Then Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 Choose something of your own to give as a special contribution to the Lord. Let everyone who is willing bring this kind of contribution to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze, 6 violet, purple, and bright red yarn, fine linen, goats’ hair, 7 rams’ skins dyed red, fine leather,acacia wood, 8 olive oil for the lamps, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet-smelling incense, 9 onyx stones, and other precious stones to be set in the ⸤chief priest’s⸥ ephodand breastplate.

Anyone who does work on it must be executed. 3 Do not light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.”

4 Then Moses said to the entire Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 Take up an offering among you for the Lord. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring this as the Lord’s offering: gold, silver, and bronze; 6 blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair; 7 ram skins dyed red and manatee skins; acacia wood; 8 oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 9 and onyx with gemstones to mount on the ephod and breastpiece.

4 And Moses said to all the community of the Israelites, saying, “This is the word that Yahweh has commanded, saying, 5 ‘Take from among you a contribution for Yahweh, anyone willing of heart, let him bring Yahweh’s contribution—gold and silver and bronze, 6 and blue and purple and crimson yarns, and fine linen and goat hair, 7 and red-dyed ram skins, and fine leather, and acacia wood, 8 and oil for the lamp, balsam oils for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, 9 onyx stones and stones for mountings on the ephod and the breast piece.

1 Moses gathered the whole community of Israel together. He said to them, “Here are the things the Lord has commanded you to do. 2 You must do your work in six days. But the seventh day will be your holy day. It will be a Sabbath in the Lord’s honor. You must rest on it. Anyone who does any work on it must be put to death. 3 Do not even light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.”

4 Moses spoke to the whole community of Israel. He said, “Here is what the Lord has commanded. 5 Take an offering for the Lord from what you have. Those who want to can bring an offering to the Lord. Here is what they can bring.

“gold, silver and bronze

6 blue, purple and bright red yarn and fine linen

goat hair

7 ram skins that are dyed red

the hides of sea cows

acacia wood

8 olive oil for the lights

spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet-smelling incense

9 onyx stones and other jewels for the linen apron and the chest cloth

1 Then Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, “These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do:

2 “For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a sabbath of complete rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.

3 “You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath day.”

4 Moses spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the Lord has commanded, saying,

5 ‘Take from among you a contribution to the Lord; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze,

6 and blue, purple and scarlet material, fine linen, goats’ hair,

7 and rams’ skins dyed red, and porpoise skins, and acacia wood,

8 and oil for lighting, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense,

9 and onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the breastpiece.
