1 Timothy 2:1–4
2 Therefore I 1exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 afor kings and ball who are in 2authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and 3reverence. 3 For this is cgood and acceptable in the sight dof God our Savior, 4 ewho desires all men to be saved fand to come to the knowledge of the truth.
