8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt:

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

8 I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else:

8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

9 Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

8 I tell you, God will help his people quickly. But when the Son of Man comes again, will he find those on earth who believe in him?”

9 Jesus told this story to some people who thought they were very good and looked down on everyone else:

8 I say unto you, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

9 And he spake also this parable unto certain who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and set all others at nought:

8 I say unto you that he will avenge them speedily. But when the Son of man comes, shall he indeed find faith on the earth?

9 And he spoke also to some, who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and made nothing of all the rest of men, this parable:

8 I can guarantee that he will give them justice quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” 

9 Jesus also used this illustration with some who were sure that God approved of them while they looked down on everyone else.

8 I tell you that He will swiftly grant them justice. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find that faith on earth?”

9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and looked down on everyone else:

8 I tell you, he will quickly grant justice to them. And yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

8 I tell you that he will see to it that justice is done for them soon! Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, then will he find faith on earth?”

8 I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly.

“But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

9 Jesus told a story to some people who were sure they were right with God. They looked down on everybody else.

8 “I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

9 And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
