Leviticus 24:21–22

21 Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, and whoever kills a person shall be put to death. 22 You shall have the same rule for the sojourner and for the native, for I am the Lord your God.”

21 And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death. 22 Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the Lord your God.

21 “Whoever kills an animal must pay for it in full, but whoever kills another person must be put to death.

22 “This same standard applies both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you. I am the Lord your God.”

21 And whoever kills an animal shall restore it; but whoever kills a man shall be put to death. 22 You shall have the same law for the stranger and for one from your own country; for I am the Lord your God.’ ”

21 Whoever kills another person’s animal must give that person another animal to take its place. But whoever kills another person must be put to death.

22 “ ‘The law will be the same for the foreigner as for those from your own country. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

21 He that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man mortally shall be put to death. 22 Ye shall have one law: as the stranger, so the home-born; for I am Jehovah your God.

21 Whoever kills an animal must replace it. Whoever kills a person must be put to death. 22 The same rule applies to every one of you. It makes no difference whether you are a foreigner or an Israelite, because I am the Lord your God.” 

21 Whoever kills an animal is to make restitution for it, but whoever kills a person is to be put to death. 22 You are to have the same law for the foreign resident and the native, because I am Yahweh your God.”

21 One who kills an animal shall make restitution for it, but one who kills a human being shall be put to death. 22 You shall have one law for the alien and for the native-born, for I am the Lord your God.”

21 And a killer of a domestic animal must repay for it, and a killer of a human shall be put to death. 22 You must have one norm; as for the alien, so it must be for the native, because I am Yahweh your God.’ ”

21 “ ‘If anyone kills an animal, he must pay its owner. But if he kills a human being, he must be put to death. 22 The same law applies whether he is an outsider or an Israelite. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

21 ‘Thus the one who kills an animal shall make it good, but the one who kills a man shall be put to death.

22 ‘There shall be one standard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the Lord your God.’ ”
