Jeremiah 8:20–22 — English Standard Version (ESV)
20 “The harvest is past, the summer is ended,
and we are not saved.”
21 For the wound of the daughter of my people is my heart wounded;
I mourn, and dismay has taken hold on me.
22 Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then has the health of the daughter of my people
not been restored?
Jeremiah 8:20–22 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. 21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. 22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Is there no physician there?
Why is there no healing
for the wounds of my people?

Why then is there no recovery
For the health of the daughter of my people?
Jeremiah 8:20–22 — New Century Version (NCV)

summer has ended,
and we have not been saved.”

I cry loudly and am afraid for them.
22 Isn’t there balm in the land of Gilead?
Isn’t there a doctor there?
So why aren’t the hurts of my people healed?
Jeremiah 8:20–22 — American Standard Version (ASV)

Jeremiah 8:20–22 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. 21 —For the breach of the daughter of my people am I crushed; I go mourning; astonishment hath taken hold of me. 22 Is there no balm in Gilead? is there no physician there? Why then is there no dressing applied for the healing of the daughter of my people?
