1 Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, and do not dip it in water.” 2 So I bought a loincloth according to the word of the Lord, and put it around my waist. 3 And the word of the Lord came to me a second time,

1 Thus saith the Lord unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water. 2 So I got a girdle according to the word of the Lord, and put it on my loins. 3 And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying,

1 This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it on, but do not wash it.” 2 So I bought the loincloth as the Lord directed me, and I put it on.

3 Then the Lord gave me another message:

1 Thus the Lord said to me: “Go and get yourself a linen sash, and put it around your waist, but do not put it in water.” 2 So I got a sash according to the word of the Lord, and put it around my waist.

3 And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying,

1 This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen belt and put it around your waist. Don’t let the belt get wet.”

2 So I bought a linen belt, just as the Lord told me, and put it around my waist. 3 Then the Lord spoke his word to me a second time:

1 Thus saith Jehovah unto me, Go, and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water. 2 So I bought a girdle according to the word of Jehovah, and put it upon my loins. 3 And the word of Jehovah came unto me the second time, saying,

1 Thus said Jehovah unto me: Go and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins; but dip it not in water. 2 And I bought a girdle according to the word of Jehovah, and put it upon my loins. 3 And the word of Jehovah came unto me the second time, saying,

1 This is what the Lord said to me: “Buy a linen belt. Put it around your waist. Don’t let it get wet.” 2 So I bought the belt, as the Lord had told me, and put it around my waist. 

3 The Lord spoke his word to me again. He said,

1 This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy yourself a linen undergarment and put it on, but do not put it in water.” 2 So I bought underwear as the Lord instructed me and put it on.

3 Then the word of the Lord came to me a second time:

1 Thus said the Lord to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen loincloth, and put it on your loins, but do not dip it in water.” 2 So I bought a loincloth according to the word of the Lord, and put it on my loins. 3 And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying,

1 Thus Yahweh said to me: “Go and buy for yourself a loincloth of linen and put it on your loins, but you must not place it in water.” 2 So I bought the loincloth according to the word of Yahweh and I put it on my loins.

3 Now the word of Yahweh came to me a second time, saying,

1 The Lord said to me, “Go and buy a linen belt. Put it around your waist. But do not let it get wet.”

2 So I bought a belt, just as the Lord had told me to do. And I put it around my waist.

3 Then another message came to me from the Lord. He said,

1 Thus the Lord said to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen waistband and put it around your waist, but do not put it in water.”

2 So I bought the waistband in accordance with the word of the Lord and put it around my waist.

3 Then the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying,
