Isaiah 7:2–3
2 Now the house of Davidd was told, “Aram has allied itself witha Ephraime”; so the hearts of Ahaz and his people were shaken,f as the trees of the forest are shaken by the wind.
3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out, you and your son Shear-Jashub,b g to meet Ahaz at the end of the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field.h

2 When the house of David was told, “Syria is in league with Ephraim,” the heart of Ahaz and the heart of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake before the wind.
3 And the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-jashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool on the highway to the Washer’s Field.

When Ahaz heard this, he and the people were frightened. They shook with fear like trees of the forest blown by the wind.
