Hebrews 10:38–11:1

38 And,

“But my righteousg one will live by faith.g

And I take no pleasure

in the one who shrinks back.”h h

39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Hebrews 10:38–11:1 — English Standard Version (ESV)

38 but my righteous one shall live by faith,

and if he shrinks back,

my soul has no pleasure in him.”

39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
