5 I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn off your feet. 6 You have not eaten bread, and you have not drunk wine or strong drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.

5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. 6 Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the Lord your God.

5 For forty years I led you through the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out. 6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or other alcoholic drink, but he provided for you food so you would know that he is the Lord your God.

5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet. 6 You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.

5 I led you through the desert for forty years, and during that time neither your clothes nor sandals wore out. 6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or beer. This was so you would understand that I am the Lord your God.

5 For 40 years I led you through the desert. During that time your clothes and shoes never wore out. 6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or liquor. I did this so that you would know that I am the Lord your God.

5 He led you through the desert for 40 years. During that time your clothes didn’t wear out. The sandals on your feet didn’t wear out either. 6 You didn’t eat any bread. You didn’t drink any kind of wine. The Lord did all of those things because he wanted you to know that he is the Lord your God.

5 “I have led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandal has not worn out on your foot.

6 “You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or strong drink, in order that you might know that I am the Lord your God.
