2 Chronicles 17:13–19

13 and had large supplies in the towns of Judah. He also kept experienced fighting men in Jerusalem. 14 Their enrollmentp by families was as follows:

From Judah, commanders of units of 1,000:

Adnah the commander, with 300,000 fighting men;

15 next, Jehohanan the commander, with 280,000;

16 next, Amasiah son of Zikri, who volunteeredq himself for the service of the Lord, with 200,000.

From Judah there were 300,000 troops organized in units of 1,000, under the command of Adnah. 15 Next in command was Jehohanan, who commanded 280,000 troops. 16 Next was Amasiah son of Zicri, who volunteered for the Lord’s service, with 200,000 troops under his command.

17 From Benjamin there were 200,000 troops equipped with bows and shields. They were under the command of Eliada, a veteran soldier. 18 Next in command was Jehozabad, who commanded 180,000 armed men.

19 These were the troops stationed in Jerusalem to serve the king, besides those Jehoshaphat stationed in the fortified towns throughout Judah.

Amasiah son of Zicri had volunteered to serve the Lord.

17 These were the commanders from the families of Benjamin: Eliada, a brave soldier, had two hundred thousand soldiers who used bows and shields. 18 And Jehozabad had one hundred eighty thousand men armed for war.

19 All these soldiers served King Jehoshaphat. The king also put other men in the strong, walled cities through all of Judah.

16 Another was Amasiah, the son of Zicri. Amasiah commanded 200,000. He had offered to serve the Lord.

17 From Benjamin there were also commanders.

One of them was Eliada. He was a brave soldier. He commanded 200,000 men. They were armed with bows and shields.

19 Those were the men who served the king. He stationed some other men in the cities all through Judah. The cities had high walls around them.
