11 For the grace of God has aappeared, 1bbringing salvation to all men,
12 1instructing us to deny ungodliness and aworldly desires and bto live sensibly, righteously and godly cin the present age,
13 looking for the blessed hope and the aappearing of the glory of 1bour great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,
14 who agave Himself for us bto redeem us from every lawless deed, and to cpurify for Himself a dpeople for His own possession, ezealous for good deeds.
15 These things speak and aexhort and areprove with all 1authority. bLet no one disregard you.
1 aRemind them bto be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be cready for every good deed,
2 to malign no one, ato be peaceable, agentle, bshowing every consideration for all men.
3 aFor we also once were foolish ourselves, bdisobedient, cdeceived, denslaved to evarious lusts and pleasures, spending our life in fmalice and fenvy, hateful, hating one another.
4 But when the akindness of bGod our Savior and His love for mankind cappeared,
5 aHe saved us, bnot on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but caccording to His mercy, by the dwashing of regeneration and erenewing by the Holy Spirit,
6 awhom He poured out upon us brichly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that being justified by His grace we would be made aheirs 1according to the hope of eternal life.
