1 After the plague the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest, 2 “Take a census of the whole Israelite community by families—all those twenty years old or more who are able to serve in the army of Israel.” 3 So on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them and said, 4 “Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the Lord commanded Moses.”

These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:

1 After the plague, the Lord said to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron, the priest, 2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the people of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all in Israel who are able to go to war.” 3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, 4 “Take a census of the people, from twenty years old and upward,” as the Lord commanded Moses. The people of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt were:

1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying, 2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house, all that are able to go to war in Israel. 3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, 4 Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

1 After the plague had ended, the Lord said to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, 2 “From the whole community of Israel, record the names of all the warriors by their families. List all the men twenty years old or older who are able to go to war.”

3 So there on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest issued these instructions to the leaders of Israel: 4 “List all the men of Israel twenty years old and older, just as the Lord commanded Moses.”

This is the record of all the descendants of Israel who came out of Egypt.

Count all the men who are twenty years old or older who will serve in the army of Israel.” 3 Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke to the people on the plains of Moab near the Jordan River, across from Jericho. They said, 4 “Count the men twenty years old or older, as the Lord commanded Moses.”

Here are the Israelites who came out of Egypt:

1 And it came to pass after the plague, that Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying, 2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel. 3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, 4 Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as Jehovah commanded Moses and the children of Israel, that came forth out of the land of Egypt.

1 And it came to pass after the plague, that Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying, 2 Take the sum of the whole assembly of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, according to their fathers’ houses, all that go forth to military service in Israel. 3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan of Jericho, saying, 4 From twenty years old and upward…;as Jehovah had commanded Moses and the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt.

1 After the plague the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar, son of the priest Aaron, 2 “Take a census of the whole community of Israel by households. List those who are at least 20 years old and eligible for military duty.” 

3 So Moses and the priest Eleazar spoke to the Israelites on the plains of Moab near the Jordan River across from Jericho. They said, 4 “Take a census of those at least 20 years old, as the Lord commanded Moses.” 

These are the Israelites who came from Egypt: 

1 After the plague, the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, 2 “Take a census of the entire Israelite community by their ancestral houses of those 20 years old or more who can serve in Israel’s army.”

3 So Moses and Eleazar the priest said to them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, 4 “Take a census of those 20 years old or more, as the Lord had commanded Moses and the Israelites who came out of the land of Egypt.”

The Israelites, who came out of the land of Egypt, were:

1  And it happened after the plague, Yahweh said to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying, 2 “Take a census of the community of the Israelites from those twenty years old and above, according to their families, all who are able to go out to war in Israel.” 3 So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them on the desert-plateau of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, saying, 4 “Take a census of the community from those twenty years old and above, just as Yahweh commanded Moses.”

The Israelites who went out from the land of Egypt were:

1 After the plague the Lord spoke to Moses and the priest Eleazar. Eleazar was the son of Aaron. The Lord said, 2 “Count all of the men of Israel. Make a list of them by their families. Count all of the men who are able to serve in Israel’s army. They must be 20 years old or more.”

3 At that time the people of Israel were on the flatlands of Moab. They were by the Jordan River across from Jericho. Moses and the priest Eleazar spoke with them. They said, 4 “Count all of the men who are 20 years old or more. Do it just as the Lord commanded Moses.”
