Destruction in Israel and Judah

1 The aword of the Lord which came to bMicah of Moresheth in the days of cJotham, dAhaz and eHezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

2 Hear, O peoples, all of 1you;

The word of the Lord that came to Micah of Moresheth during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah—the vision he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Hear, you peoples, all of you,

listen, earth and all who live in it,

that the Sovereign Lord may bear witness against you,

the Lord from his holy temple.

The Lord and King will be a witness against you.

The Lord will speak from his holy temple in heaven.
