John 19:35–37

35 And he who has seen has atestified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you also may believe.

36 For these things came to pass ato fulfill the Scripture, “bNot a bone of Him shall be 1broken.”

37 And again another Scripture says, “aThey shall look on Him whom they pierced.”

John 19:35–37 — The New International Version (NIV)

35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”
