John 13:27–29

27 After the morsel, aSatan then bentered into him. Therefore Jesus * said to him, What you do, do quickly.”

28 Now no one of those reclining at the table knew for what purpose He had said this to him.

29 For some were supposing, because Judas ahad the money box, that Jesus was saying to him, “Buy the things we have need of bfor the feast”; or else, that he should cgive something to the poor.

John 13:27–29 — The New International Version (NIV)

27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.

So Jesus told him, What you are about to do, do quickly.” 28 But no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him. 29 Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the festival, or to give something to the poor.
