it will never be rebuilt.

it will never be rebuilt.

A palace of strangers to be no city;

It shall never be built.

Isaiah 25:1–2 — New Living Translation (NLT)

O Lord, I will honor and praise your name,

for you are my God.

Cities with strong walls are turned to rubble.

Beautiful palaces in distant lands disappear

and will never be rebuilt.

It will never be rebuilt.

Isaiah 25:1–2 — New Century Version (NCV)

Lord, you are my God.

I honor you and praise you,

and have destroyed her walls.

The city our enemies built with strong walls is gone;

it will never be built again.

Isaiah 25:1–2 — American Standard Version (ASV)

O Jehovah, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth. For thou hast made of a city a heap, of a fortified city a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
