25 I lay prostrate before the Lord those forty days and forty nights because the Lord had said he would destroy you.

25 “So I lay prostrate before the Lord for these forty days and forty nights, because the Lord had said he would destroy you.

25 Thus I fell down before the Lord forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the Lord had said he would destroy you.

25 “That is why I threw myself down before the Lord for forty days and nights—for the Lord said he would destroy you.

25 “Thus I prostrated myself before the Lord; forty days and forty nights I kept prostrating myself, because the Lord had said He would destroy you.

25 The Lord had said he would destroy you, so I threw myself down in front of him for those forty days and forty nights.

25 So I fell down before Jehovah the forty days and forty nights that I fell down, because Jehovah had said he would destroy you.

25 Throughout the forty days and forty nights that I lay prostrate before the Lord when the Lord intended to destroy you,

25 “And I lay prostrate before Yahweh through forty days, and through forty nights I prostrated myself, because Yahweh intended to kill you.

25 I lay down in front of the Lord with my face toward the ground for 40 days and 40 nights. I did it because the Lord had said he would destroy you.
