The Future of Bible Study Is Here.
Galatians 2:21
I am not going to go back on that.
Is it not clear to you that to go back to that old rule-keeping, peer-pleasing religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God? I refuse to do that, to repudiate God’s grace. If a living relationship with God could come by rule-keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily.

21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

Galatians 2:21 — New Living Translation (NLT)
21 I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
Galatians 2:21 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
Galatians 2:21 — New Century Version (NCV)
21 By saying these things I am not going against God’s grace. Just the opposite, if the law could make us right with God, then Christ’s death would be useless.
Galatians 2:21 — American Standard Version (ASV)
21 I do not make void the grace of God: for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nought.
Galatians 2:21 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is by law, then Christ has died for nothing.
Galatians 2:21 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
21 I don’t reject God’s kindness. If we receive God’s approval by obeying the laws in the Scriptures, then Christ’s death was pointless.

Galatians 2:21 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)
21 I do not declare invalid the grace of God, for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died to no purpose.
