Ezekiel 48:1–8

1 “These are the tribes, listed by name: At the northern frontier, Dan will have one portion; it will follow the Hethlon road to Lebo Hamath; Hazar Enan and the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath will be part of its border from the east side to the west side.

2 “Asher will have one portion; it will border the territory of Dan from east to west.

3 “Naphtali will have one portion; it will border the territory of Asher from east to west.

4 “Manasseh will have one portion; it will border the territory of Naphtali from east to west.

5 “Ephraim will have one portion; it will border the territory of Manasseh from east to west.

6 “Reuben will have one portion; it will border the territory of Ephraim from east to west.

7 “Judah will have one portion; it will border the territory of Reuben from east to west.

8 “Bordering the territory of Judah from east to west will be the portion you are to present as a special gift. It will be 25,000 cubits wide, and its length from east to west will equal one of the tribal portions; the sanctuary will be in the center of it.

1 “These are the names of the tribes: Beginning at the northern extreme, beside the way of Hethlon to Lebo-hamath, as far as Hazar-enan (which is on the northern border of Damascus over against Hamath), and extending from the east side to the west, Dan, one portion. 2 Adjoining the territory of Dan, from the east side to the west, Asher, one portion. 3 Adjoining the territory of Asher, from the east side to the west, Naphtali, one portion. 4 Adjoining the territory of Naphtali, from the east side to the west, Manasseh, one portion. 5 Adjoining the territory of Manasseh, from the east side to the west, Ephraim, one portion. 6 Adjoining the territory of Ephraim, from the east side to the west, Reuben, one portion. 7 Adjoining the territory of Reuben, from the east side to the west, Judah, one portion.

8 “Adjoining the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, shall be the portion which you shall set apart, 25,000 cubits in breadth, and in length equal to one of the tribal portions, from the east side to the west, with the sanctuary in the midst of it.

1 Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan. 2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Asher. 3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali. 4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh. 5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim. 6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Reuben. 7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Judah.

8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

1 “Here is the list of the tribes of Israel and the territory each is to receive. The territory of Dan is in the extreme north. Its boundary line follows the Hethlon road to Lebo-hamath and then runs on to Hazar-enan on the border of Damascus, with Hamath to the north. Dan’s territory extends all the way across the land of Israel from east to west.

2 “Asher’s territory lies south of Dan’s and also extends from east to west. 3 Naphtali’s land lies south of Asher’s, also extending from east to west. 4 Then comes Manasseh south of Naphtali, and its territory also extends from east to west. 5 South of Manasseh is Ephraim, 6 and then Reuben, 7 and then Judah, all of whose boundaries extend from east to west.

8 “South of Judah is the land set aside for a special purpose. It will be 8⅓ miles wide and will extend as far east and west as the tribal territories, with the Temple at the center.

1 “Now these are the names of the tribes: From the northern border along the road to Hethlon at the entrance of Hamath, to Hazar Enan, the border of Damascus northward, in the direction of Hamath, there shall be one section for Dan from its east to its west side; 2 by the border of Dan, from the east side to the west, one section for Asher; 3 by the border of Asher, from the east side to the west, one section for Naphtali; 4 by the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west, one section for Manasseh; 5 by the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west, one section for Ephraim; 6 by the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west, one section for Reuben; 7 by the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west, one section for Judah; 8 by the border of Judah, from the east side to the west, shall be the district which you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits in width, and in length the same as one of the other portions, from the east side to the west, with the sanctuary in the center.

1 “These are the areas of the tribes named here: Dan will have one share at the northern border. It will go from the sea through Hethlon to Lebo Hamath, all the way to Hazar Enan, where Damascus lies to the north. It will stop there next to Hamath. This will be Dan’s northern border from the east side to the Mediterranean Sea on the west side.

2 “South of Dan’s border, Asher will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

3 “South of Asher’s border, Naphtali will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

4 “South of Naphtali’s border, Manasseh will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

5 “South of Manasseh’s border, Ephraim will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

6 “South of Ephraim’s border, Reuben will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

7 “South of Reuben’s border, Judah will have one share. It will go from the east side to the west side.

8 “South of Judah’s border will be the holy area which you are to give. It will be about seven miles wide and as long and wide as one of the tribes’ shares. It will run from the east side to the west side. The Temple will be in the middle of this area.

1 Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east and west,) Dan, one portion. 2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher, one portion. 3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali, one portion. 4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh, one portion. 5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim, one portion. 6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben, one portion. 7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah, one portion.

8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the oblation which ye shall offer, five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

1 And these are the names of the tribes: From the north end along the way of Hethlon, as one entereth into Hamath, Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus northward unto near Hamath—the east and west side belonging to him—shall Dan have one portion. 2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher one. 3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali one. 4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh one. 5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim one. 6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben one. 7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah one. 8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the heave-offering that ye shall offer, five and twenty thousand cubits in breadth, and in length as one of the parts from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

1 These are the names of the tribes. Beginning at the northern border, Dan will have one part of the land. It will extend from the road to Hethlon to Hamath Pass and Hazar Enon, on the northern border of Damascus near Hamath, from the eastern border to the western border. 

2 Asher will have one part of the land and border Dan on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

3 Naphtali will have one part of the land and border Asher on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

4 Manasseh will have one part of the land and border Naphtali on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

5 Ephraim will have one part of the land and border Manasseh on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

6 Reuben will have one part of the land and border Ephraim on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

7 Judah will have one part of the land and border Reuben on the south. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border. 

8 The land that you set aside as a special gift for the Lord will border Judah on the south. It will be 43,750 feet wide, and it will be as long as one of the sections of the tribes. It will extend from the eastern border to the western border, and the holy place will be in the middle of it. 

1 “Now these are the names of the tribes:

From the northern end, along the road of Hethlon, to Lebo-hamath as far as Hazar-enon, at the northern border of Damascus, alongside Hamath and extending from the eastern side to the sea, will be Dan—one portion.

2 Next to the territory of Dan, from the east side to the west, will be Asher—one portion.

3 Next to the territory of Asher, from the east side to the west, will be Naphtali—one portion.

4 Next to the territory of Naphtali, from the east side to the west, will be Manasseh—one portion.

5 Next to the territory of Manasseh, from the east side to the west, will be Ephraim—one portion.

6 Next to the territory of Ephraim, from the east side to the west, will be Reuben—one portion.

7 Next to the territory of Reuben, from the east side to the west, will be Judah—one portion.

8 “Next to the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, will be the portion you donate to the Lord, 8⅓ miles wide, and as long as one of the tribal portions from the east side to the west. The sanctuary will be in the middle of it.

8 Adjoining the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, shall be the portion that you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits in width, and in length equal to one of the tribal portions, from the east side to the west, with the sanctuary in the middle of it.

1 And these are the names of the tribes: At the end of the north, along the way to Hethlon from Lebo-hamath to Hazar Enan on the boundary of Damascus beside Hamath northward, there will be one portion for Dan from the eastern border to the west. 2 And next to the territory of Dan, from the eastern border up to the western border, one portion for Asher. 3 And next to the territory of Asher, from the eastern border and up to the western border, one portion for Naphtali. 4 And next to the territory of Naphtali, from the eastern border up to the western border, one portion for Manasseh. 5 And next to the territory of Manasseh, from the eastern border up to the western border, one portion for Ephraim. 6 And next to the territory of Ephraim, from the eastern border and up to the western border, one portion for Reuben. 7 And next to the territory of Reuben, from the eastern border up to the western border, one portion for Judah.

8 And next to the territory of Judah, from the eastern border up to the western border, shall be located the contribution that you set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits in width, and its length just like one of the portions from the eastern border up to the western border, and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

1 “Here are the tribes. They are listed by their names. Dan will receive one share of land. It will be at the northern border of Israel. The border will follow the Hethlon road to Lebo Hamath. Hazar Enan will be part of the border. So will the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath. Dan’s northern border will run from east to west.

2 “Asher will receive one share. It will border the territory of Dan from east to west.

3 “Naphtali will receive one share. It will border the territory of Asher from east to west.

4 “Manasseh will receive one share. It will border the territory of Naphtali from east to west.

5 “Ephraim will receive one share. It will border the territory of Manasseh from east to west.

6 “Reuben will receive one share. It will border the territory of Ephraim from east to west.

7 “Judah will receive one share. It will border the territory of Reuben from east to west.

8 “You must give one share as a special gift to me. It will border the territory of Judah from east to west. It will be eight and a fourth miles wide. It will be as long as the border of each of the territories of the tribes. Its border will run from east to west. The temple will be in the center of that strip of land.

2 “Beside the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one portion.

3 “Beside the border of Asher, from the east side to the west side, Naphtali, one portion.

4 “Beside the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one portion.

5 “Beside the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one portion.

6 “Beside the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west side, Reuben, one portion.

7 “Beside the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one portion.

8 “And beside the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the allotment which you shall set apart, 25,000 cubits in width, and in length like one of the portions, from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary shall be in the middle of it.
