Zechariah 2:1–10

I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold aa man abwith a measuring cline in his hand. Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, bTo measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. And, behold, dthe angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, And said unto him, Run, speak to ethis young man, saying,

eeJerusalem shall be inhabited as ftowns gwithout walls

hFor the multitude of men and cattle therein:

For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her gia wall of fire kround about,

And will be lthe glory min the midst of her.

Ho, ho, come forth, and nflee ofrom the land of the north, saith the Lord:

For I have pqspread you abroad qas rthe four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord.

nsDeliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts;

After lthe glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you:

For the that toucheth you utoucheth vthe apple of his eye.

For, behold, I will wshake mine hand upon them,

And xthey shall be a spoil to their servants:

And yye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.

10  zSing and rejoice, aO daughter of Zion:

For, blo, I come, and cI will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.
