Revelation 4:1–6

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was aas it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, bCome up hither, and cI will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately dI was in the spirit: and, behold, efa throne was set fin heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a gjasper and a hsardine stone: and there was ia rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an jemerald. 4 And kround about the throne were lfour and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw lmfour and twenty elders sitting, nclothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads ocrowns of gold. 5 And out of the throne proceeded plightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven qlamps of fire burning before the throne, which are rthe seven Spirits of God. 6 And before the throne there was sa sea of glass like unto sscrystal: and tin the midst of the throne, and kround about the throne, were tfour beasts ufull of eyes before and vbehind.
