Revelation 19–22
19 And after these things aI heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, bAlleluia; cSalvation, and dglory, and dhonour, and epower, unto the Lord our God: 2 For ftrue and righteous are his judgments: for ghe hath judged hthe great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and gihath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3 And again they said, bAlleluia. And kher smoke rose up for ever and ever. 4 And lthe four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, mAmen; bAlleluia. 5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, nPraise our God, all oye his servants, and pye that fear him, pqboth small and great. 6 And I heard as it were rthe voice of a great multitude, and sas the voice of many waters, and tas the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, bAlleluia: for uthe Lord God vomnipotent reigneth. 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and wgive honour to him: for xthe marriage of the Lamb is come, and yhis wife hath made herself ready. 8 And zto her was granted that she should be aarrayed in bfine linen, cclean and ||white: for dthe fine linen is ethe righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, fWrite, gBlessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, hThese are the true sayings of God. 10 And iI fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, jSee thou do it not: I am kthy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that lhave the testimony of Jesus: mworship God: for nthe testimony of Jesus is othe spirit of prophecy. 11 And I saw pheaven opened, and behold qa white horse; and qhe that sat upon him was called rsFaithful and rtTrue, and uin righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 vHis eyes were as a flame of fire, and won his head were many xcrowns; and he had ya name written, zthat no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with aa vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called bThe Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him cupon white horses, clothed in dfine linen, dwhite and clean. 15 And eout of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and fhe shall rule them with a rod of iron: and aghe treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and hwrath of iAlmighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh ka name written, lKING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to mall the fowls nthat fly in the midst of heaven, oCome and gather yourselves together punto the supper of qthe great God; 18 rThat ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of scaptains, and rthe flesh of mighty men, and rthe flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both sfree and bond, both tsmall and great. 19 And I saw uthe beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, vgathered together wto make war against xhim that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And uthe beast was taken, and with him ythe false prophet wthat wrought zmiracles abefore him, with which he bdeceived cthem that had received the mark of the beast, and dthem that worshipped his image. These both ewere cast alive into a lake fof fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of ghim that sat upon the horse, hwhich sword proceeded out of his mouth: and iall the fowls were filled with their flesh.
20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, ahaving the key of bthe bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on cthe dragon, dthat old serpent, which is ethe Devil, and fSatan, and gbound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into bthe bottomless pit, and shut him up, and hset a seal upon him, that dihe should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw kthrones, and lthey sat upon them, and mjudgment was given unto them: and I saw nthe souls of othem that were beheaded for pthe witness of Jesus, and for pthe word of God, and qwhich had not worshipped the beast, neither rhis image, neither shad received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and treigned with Christ ua thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead vlived not again until uthe thousand years were finished. This is wthe first resurrection. 6 xBlessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such ythe second death hath no power, but they shall be zpriests of God and of Christ, and tshall reign with him ua thousand years. 7 And when uthe thousand years are expired, fSatan shall be loosed aout of his prison, 8 And shall go out bto deceive the nations which are in cthe four quarters of the earth, dGog and Magog, eto gather them together to fbattle: gthe number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And hthey went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed ithe camp of the saints about, and kthe beloved city: and lfire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that bdeceived them mwas cast into the lake nof fire and brimstone, mwhere the beast and mthe false prophet are, and nshall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face othe earth and the heaven fled away; and pthere was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, qsmall and great, stand before God; and rthe books were opened: and another book was opened, swhich is the book of life: and tthe dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, uaccording to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and vdeath and ||hell wdelivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged uevery man according to their works. 14 And xdeath and hell mwere cast into the lake of fire. This is ythe second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in sthe book of life mwas cast into the lake of fire.
21 And I saw aa new heaven and a new earth: for bthe first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and cthere was no more sea. 2 And I dJohn saw ethe holy city, fnew Jerusalem, fgcoming down from God out of heaven, prepared has a bride iadorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, jthe tabernacle of God is with men, and he will kdwell with them, and jthey shall be his people, and lGod himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And llGod shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and mthere shall be no more death, nneither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for bthe former things are passed away. 5 And ohe that sat upon the throne said, Behold, pI make all things new. And he said unto me, qWrite: for rthese words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, sIt is done. tI am Alpha and Omega, tthe beginning and the end. uI will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life vfreely. 7 wHe that overcometh xshall inherit ||yall things; and zI will be his God, and he shall be amy son. 8 But bthe fearful, and iunbelieving, and cthe abominable, and demurderers, and dfwhoremongers, and dgsorcerers, and didolaters, and dhall liars, shall have their ipart in jthe lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is kthe second death. 9 And there came unto me lone of mthe seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, lCome hither, I will shew thee nthe bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10 And ohe carried me away oin the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, nthe holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 pHaving the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like qa jasper stone, rclear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great and high, and shad twelve tgates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 suOn the east three tgates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of vthe city had twelve wfoundations, and xin them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that talked with me had a golden yreed to measure the city, and the tgates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with ythe reed, twelve thousand zfurlongs. aThe length and athe breadth and athe height of it are bequal. 17 And he measured cthe wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to dthe measure of a man, ethat is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it was of fjasper: and the city was jpure gold, glike unto clear glass. 19 And hthe foundations of the wall of the city were igarnished with all manner of jprecious stones. The first foundation was fjasper; the second, hjksapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an jlemerald; 20 The fifth, msardonyx; the sixth, lsardius; the seventh, nchrysolite; the eighth, joberyl; the ninth, a ptopaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a qjacinth; the twelfth, an ramethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve spearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and tthe street of the city was jpure gold, gas it were transparent glass. 22 And uI saw no temple therein: for the Lord God vAlmighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And wthe city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for wxthe glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And ythe nations of zthem which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and athe kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And bthe gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for cthere shall be no night there. 26 And athey shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And dthere shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever cworketh abomination
