Psalm 118:5–16

dI called upon the eLord in fdistress:

The eLord answered me, and gset me in ha large place.

iThe Lord is on my side; jI will not fear:

What can man do unto me?

kThe Lord taketh my part with them that help me:

Therefore shall lI see my desire upon them that hate me.

It is better to mtrust in the Lord

Than to put confidence in man.

It is better to mtrust in the Lord

Than to put confidence in nprinces.

10  All nations ocompassed me about:

But in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.

11  oThey compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about:

But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

12  oThey compassed me about plike bees;

They are quenched qas the fire of thorns:

For in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

13  Thou hast rthrust sore at me that I might fall:

But the Lord helped me.

14  The seLord is my strength and song,

And stis become my salvation.

15  The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous:

uThe right hand of the Lord vdoeth valiantly.

16  The right hand of the Lord is exalted:

uThe right hand of the Lord vdoeth valiantly.
