Psalm 50:8–13 — The New International Version (NIV)

I bring no charges against you concerning your sacrifices

or concerning your burnt offerings, which are ever before me.

I have no need of a bull from your stall

or of goats from your pens,

10 for every animal of the forest is mine,

and the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 I know every bird in the mountains,

and the insects in the fields are mine.

12 If I were hungry I would not tell you,

for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls

or drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — English Standard Version (ESV)

Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you;

your burnt offerings are continually before me.

I will not accept a bull from your house

or goats from your folds.

10 For every beast of the forest is mine,

the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 I know all the birds of the hills,

and all that moves in the field is mine.

12 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you,

for the world and its fullness are mine.

13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls

or drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — New Living Translation (NLT)

I have no complaint about your sacrifices

or the burnt offerings you constantly offer.

But I do not need the bulls from your barns

or the goats from your pens.

10 For all the animals of the forest are mine,

and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 I know every bird on the mountains,

and all the animals of the field are mine.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you,

for all the world is mine and everything in it.

13 Do I eat the meat of bulls?

Do I drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices

Or your burnt offerings,

Which are continually before Me.

I will not take a bull from your house,

Nor goats out of your folds.

10 For every beast of the forest is Mine,

And the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 I know all the birds of the mountains,

And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.

12 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you;

For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.

13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls,

Or drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — New Century Version (NCV)

I do not scold you for your sacrifices.

You always bring me your burnt offerings.

But I do not need bulls from your stalls

or goats from your pens,

10 because every animal of the forest is already mine.

The cattle on a thousand hills are mine.

11 I know every bird on the mountains,

and every living thing in the fields is mine.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you,

because the earth and everything in it are mine.

13 I don’t eat the meat of bulls

or drink the blood of goats.

Psalm 50:8–13 — American Standard Version (ASV)

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices;

And the cattle upon a thousand hills.

And the wild beasts of the field are mine.

Or drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices, or thy burnt-offerings, continually before me; I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds: 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle upon a thousand hills; 11 I know all the fowl of the mountains, and the roaming creatures of the field are mine: 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. 13 Should I eat the flesh of bulls, and drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

I am not criticizing you for your sacrifices or burnt offerings,

which are always in front of me.

or a single male goat from your pens.

10 Every creature in the forest,

⸤even⸥ the cattle on a thousand hills, is mine.

11 I know every bird in the mountains.

Everything that moves in the fields is mine.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you,

because the world and all that it contains are mine.

13 Do I eat the meat of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

Psalm 50:8–13 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices

or for your burnt offerings,

which are continually before Me.

It is not concerning a lack of your sacrifices that I rebuke you,

and your burnt offerings are before me continually.

I will not take from your house a bull

or from your stalls a he-goat,

10 because every animal of the forest is mine,

the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 I know every bird of the mountains,

and every moving creature in the field is mine.

12 If I were hungry I would not tell you,

because the world and its fullness are mine.

And so do the cattle on a thousand hills.
