Psalm 40:1–4
1 I †awaited patiently for the Lord;
And he inclined unto me, and bheard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of †an horrible pit, out of the cmiry dclay,
And eset my feet upon a rock, and festablished my goings.
3 And he hath put ga new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God:
Many shall hsee it, and hfear, and shall itrust in the Lord.
4 kBlessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust,
And respecteth not lthe proud, nor such as mturn aside to lies.
