47 “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.

47 And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating.

47 “And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn’t prepared and doesn’t carry out those instructions, will be severely punished.

47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

47 “The servant who knows what his master wants but is not ready, or who does not do what the master wants, will be beaten with many blows!

47 And that servant, who knew his lord’s will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes;

47 But that bondman who knew his own lord’s will, and had not prepared himself nor done his will, shall be beaten with many stripes;

47 “The servant who knew what his master wanted but didn’t get ready to do it will receive a hard beating.

47 And that slave who knew his master’s will and didn’t prepare himself or do it will be severely beaten.

47 That slave who knew what his master wanted, but did not prepare himself or do what was wanted, will receive a severe beating.

47 And that slave who knew the will of his master and did not prepare or do according to his will will be given a severe beating.

47 “Suppose a servant knows his master’s wishes. But he doesn’t get ready. And he doesn’t do what his master wants. That servant will be beaten with many blows.

47 “And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes,
