Leviticus 16:34

34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins tonce a year. And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Leviticus 16:34 — The New International Version (NIV)

34 “This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites.”

And it was done, as the Lord commanded Moses.
