Joshua 4:20–21

20 And Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. 21 He said to the Israelites, “In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’

20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of the Jordan, Joshua set up at Gilgal. 21 And he said to the people of Israel, “When your children ask their fathers in times to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’

20 It was there at Gilgal that Joshua piled up the twelve stones taken from the Jordan River.

21 Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “In the future your children will ask, ‘What do these stones mean?’

20 And those twelve stones which they took out of the Jordan, Joshua set up in Gilgal. 21 Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’

20 They carried with them the twelve rocks taken from the Jordan, and Joshua set them up at Gilgal. 21 Then he spoke to the Israelites: “In the future your children will ask you, ‘What do these rocks mean?’

20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of the Jordan, did Joshua set up in Gilgal. 21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

20 And those twelve stones which they had taken out of the Jordan did Joshua set up in Gilgal. 21 And he spoke to the children of Israel, saying, When your children hereafter ask their fathers, saying, What mean these stones?

20 At Gilgal Joshua set up the 12 stones they had taken from the Jordan. 21 He said to the people of Israel, “In the future when children ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’

20 Then Joshua set up in Gilgal the 12 stones they had taken from the Jordan, 21 and he said to the Israelites, “In the future, when your children ask their fathers, ‘What is the meaning of these stones?’

20 Those twelve stones that they had taken out of the Jordan, Joshua set up in Gilgal, 21 saying to the Israelites, “When your children ask their parents in time to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’

20 And those twelve stones that they took from the Jordan, Joshua set up in Gilgal. 21 And he said to the Israelites, “When your children ask in the future their parents, ‘What is the meaning of these stones?’

20 Joshua set up the 12 stones at Gilgal. They were the ones the people had taken out of the Jordan.

21 Then he spoke to the people of Israel. He said, “In days to come, your children after you will ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’

20 Those twelve stones which they had taken from the Jordan, Joshua set up at Gilgal.

21 He said to the sons of Israel, “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’
