8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,

or let the fish in the sea inform you.

9 Which of all these does not know

that the hand of the Lord has done this?

8 or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you;

and the fish of the sea will declare to you.

8 Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you.

Let the fish in the sea speak to you.

9 For they all know

that my disaster has come from the hand of the Lord.

or let the fish of the sea tell you.

9 Every one of these knows

that the hand of the Lord has done this.

And the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

9 Who knoweth not in all these,

That the hand of Jehovah hath wrought this,

8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee; and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. 9 Who knoweth not in all these, that the hand of Jehovah hath wrought this?

8 Or speak with the earth, and it will teach you. 

Even the fish will relate ⸤the story⸥ to you. 

9 What creature doesn’t know that the Lord’s hands made it?

let the fish of the sea inform you.

8 ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you;

and the fish of the sea will declare to you.

9 Who among all these does not know

that the hand of the Lord has done this?

8 or ask the earth, and it will teach you,

and the fishes of the sea will declare to you.

9 Who among all of these does not know

that Yahweh’s hand has done this?

8 Or speak to the earth. It will teach you.

Or let the fish of the ocean educate you.

9 Are there any of those creatures that don’t know

what the powerful hand of the Lord has done?
