Isaiah 8:21–22

21  And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and ahungry:

And it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves,

And bcurse their king and their God, and look upward.

22  And cthey shall look unto the earth;

And behold dtrouble and darkness, edimness of danguish;

And they shall be driven to darkness.

21 Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. 22 Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.
