14 And when Abram heard that whis brother was taken captive, he ||armed his ||trained servants, xborn in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto yDan. 15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is zon the left hand of Damascus. 16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the aking’s dale. 18 And bMelchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was cthe priest of dthe most high God. 19 And he blessed him, and said, eBlessed be Abram of the most high God, fpossessor of heaven and earth: 20 And gblessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. 14 When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan. 15 During the night Abram divided his men to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus. 16 He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people.
17 After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).
18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying,
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Creator of heaven and earth.

16 Abram took back all of the things the kings had taken. He brought back his nephew Lot and the things Lot owned. He also brought back the women and the other people.
