Ezekiel 40:2–4
2 dIn the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon ea very high mountain, ||by which was as the frame of a city on the south. 3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was fa man, whose appearance was glike the appearance of brass, hwith a line of flax in his hand, and ia measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. 4 And the man said unto me, kSon of man, behold with thine eyes, and khear with thine ears, and klset thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: mdeclare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 40:2–4 — The New International Version (NIV)
2 In visions of God he took me to the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, on whose south side were some buildings that looked like a city. 3 He took me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze; he was standing in the gateway with a linen cord and a measuring rod in his hand. 4 The man said to me, “Son of man, look carefully and listen closely and pay attention to everything I am going to show you, for that is why you have been brought here. Tell the people of Israel everything you see.”
