Ezekiel 31:10–14

10 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because hthou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up ghihis top among ethe thick boughs, and rhis heart is lifted up in his height; 11 I have therefore delivered him into the hand of sthe mighty one of the heathen; †he shall surely tdeal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness. 12 And ustrangers, uthe terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: vupon the mountains and in all vthe valleys ohis branches are fallen, and lhis boughs are broken by all wthe rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down nfrom his shadow, and have left him. 13 xUpon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon lhis branches: 14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters hexalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up ghitheir top among ethe thick boughs, neither ||their ytrees stand up in their height, yall that drink water: for zthey are all delivered unto death, abto the nether parts of the earth, zin the midst of the children of men, awith them that go down to the pit.
