Ephesians 2:1–10

aAnd you bhath he quickened, bwho were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein cin time past ccye walked according to the dcourse of ethis world, according to fthe prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in gthe children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation cin times past in hthe lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and iwere jby nature jjthe children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is krich in mercy, for lhis great love wherewith he loved us, Even abmwhen we were dead in sins, hath nquickened us together with Christ, ||(by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us osit together pin heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding kriches of his grace in qhis kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For rby grace are ye saved sthrough faith; and that not of yourselves: tit is the gift of God: uNot of works, wlest any man should boast. 10 For we are xhis workmanship, ycreated in Christ Jesus unto zgood works, awhich God hath before ||ordained aathat we should walk in them.
