Ephesians 6
6 aChildren, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 bHonour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 bThat it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 4 And, cye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: dbut ebring them up in the nurture and fadmonition of the Lord.
5 gServants, be obedient to them that are your masters ggaccording to the flesh, hwith fear and trembling, giin singleness of your heart, iias unto Christ; 6 gNot with eyeservice, as jmenpleasers; but as kthe servants of Christ, doing lthe will of God from the heart; 7 mWith good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, nthe same shall he receive of the Lord, owhether he be bond or free. 9 And, pye masters, do the same things unto them, ||qforbearing threatening: knowing that ||kryour Master also is in heaven; sneither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Finally, my brethren, tbe strong in the Lord, and tin the power of his might. 11 uPut on vthe whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against wthe wiles of the devil. 12 For xwe wrestle not against †flesh and blood, but against yprincipalities, against ypowers, against zthe rulers of the darkness aof this world, against ||spiritual wickedness in ||high places. 13 bWherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in cthe evil day, and ||having done all, dto stand. 14 Stand therefore, ehaving your loins girt about with truth, and fhaving on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And gyour feet shod with the preparation of hthe gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking ithe shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the jfiery darts of kthe wicked. 17 And take fthe helmet of salvation, and lthe sword of the Spirit, which is mthe word of God: 18 nPraying always with all prayer and supplication oin the Spirit, and pwatching thereunto with all qperseverance and rsupplication for all saints; 19 And sfor me, that utterance may be given unto me, tthat I may open my mouth uboldly, to make known vthe mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I wam an ambassador ||xin bonds: that ||therein I umay speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 But ythat ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, zTychicus, a beloved brother and afaithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: 22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that aahe might comfort your hearts. 23 bPeace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 cGrace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ ||in dsincerity. Amen.

Ephesians 1–6
1 *aPaul, an apostle of Jesus Christ bby the will of God, to the saints which are at cEphesus, and to dthe faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 eGrace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 fBlessed be gthe God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings hin heavenly ||places in Christ: 4 According as ihe hath jchosen us in him kbefore the foundation of the world, that we should be lholy and without blame before him in love: 5 mHaving predestinated us unto nthe adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, oaccording to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath pmade us accepted in qthe beloved. 7 rIn whom we have sredemption tthrough his blood, uthe forgiveness of sins, according to vthe riches of his grace; 8 Wherein whe hath abounded toward us in all xwisdom and prudence; 9 yHaving made known unto us the mystery of his will, oaccording to his good pleasure which zhe hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of athe fulness of times bhe might gather together in one call things in Christ, cboth which are in †heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also dwe have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated eaccording to the purpose of him who worketh all things after fthe counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be gto the praise of his glory, who hfirst ||trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, iafter that ye heard kthe word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also lafter that ye believed, ye were msealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is nthe earnest dof our inheritance until the oredemption of pthe purchased possession, gunto the praise of his glory.
15 Wherefore I also, qafter I rheard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 stCease not uto give thanks vfor you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That wthe God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, tmay give unto you the spirit of xwisdom and yrevelation ||in the knowledge of him: 18 zThe eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is athe hope of his calling, and what bthe riches of the glory of his cinheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, daccording to the working †of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, ewhen he raised him from the dead, and fset him at his own right hand gin the heavenly places, 21 hFar above all ikprincipality, and kpower, and might, and dominion, and levery name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And mhath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be nthe head over all things to the church, 23 oWhich is his body, pthe fulness of him that qfilleth rall in all.
2 aAnd you bhath he quickened, bwho were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein cin time past ccye walked according to the dcourse of ethis world, according to fthe prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in gthe children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation cin times past in hthe lusts of our flesh, fulfilling †the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and iwere jby nature jjthe children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is krich in mercy, for lhis great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even abmwhen we were dead in sins, hath nquickened us together with Christ, ||(by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us osit together pin heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding kriches of his grace in qhis kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For rby grace are ye saved sthrough faith; and that not of yourselves: tit is the gift of God: 9 uNot of works, wlest any man should boast. 10 For we are xhis workmanship, ycreated in Christ Jesus unto zgood works, awhich God hath before ||ordained aathat we should walk in them.
11 Wherefore remember, bthat ye being in ctime past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called dthe Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, ebeing aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and fstrangers from gthe covenants of promise, hhaving no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus iye who csometimes were jfar off are made nigh kby the blood of Christ. 14 For lhe is our peace, mwho hath made both one, and hath nbroken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 oHaving abolished pin his flesh ppthe enmity, even the law of commandments contained in oqordinances; for to make in himself of twain one rnew man, so lmaking peace; 16 And that he might sreconcile both unto God in ssone body by the cross, othaving slain pthe enmity ||uthereby: 17 And came and wpreached peace to you which were jafar off, and to xthem that were nigh. 18 For ythrough him we both zhave access aby one Spirit unto …
