Daniel 9:24–27

24 * Seventy cweeks are determined upon thy people and upon dthy holy city, * to finish ethe transgression, and * fto make an end of sins, and gto make reconciliation for iniquity, and to hbring in everlasting righteousness, and ito seal up the vision and * prophecy, and kto anoint lthe most Holy. 25 bKnow therefore and understand, that mfrom the going forth of the commandment * to restore and to build Jerusalem nunto othe Messiah pthe Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street * shall be built again, and the * wall, qeven * in troublous times. 26 And rafter threescore and two weeks sshall oMessiah be cut off, * * tbut not for himself: * and uthe people of the prince that shall come vshall destroy the city and wthe sanctuary; and xthe end thereof shall be ywith a flood, and unto xthe end of the war * desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm * zzthe covenant with amany for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, * and * for bthe overspreading of cabominations he shall make it desolate, deven until the consummation, and dthat determined eshall be poured * upon fthe desolate.
