Daniel 11:31–33

31 And arms shall stand on his part, and bthey shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and cshall take away the daily sacrifice, and dthey shall place the abomination that ||maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he ||ecorrupt fby flatteries: but the people that do know their God gshall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And hthey that understand among the people shall instruct many: iyet they shall kfall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

31 “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

33 “Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered.
