Colossians 3:2–14

Set your ||affection on bthings above, not on things on the earth. For dye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is eour life, fshall appear, then shall ye also appear with him gin glory.

hMortify therefore iyour members which are upon the earth; kfornication, kuncleanness, lminordinate affection, evil mconcupiscence, and kcovetousness, nwhich is idolatry: oFor which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on pthe children of ndisobedience: In the which qye also walked rsome time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also sput off all these; tanger, twrath, tmalice, tblasphemy, ufilthy communication out of your mouth. wLie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off sxthe old man with his deeds; 10 And yhave put on zthe new man, awhich is renewed bin knowledge after cthe image of him that dcreated him: 11 Where there is neither efGreek nor Jew, gcircumcision nor uncircumcision, hBarbarian, iScythian, fbond nor free: but Christ is kall, and in all. 12 yPut on therefore, as lthe elect of God, holy and mbeloved, nobowels of mercies, okindness, phumbleness of mind, pmeekness, plongsuffering; 13 pForbearing one another, and oforgiving one another, if any man have a ||quarrel against any: oeven as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 qAnd above all these things rput on scharity, which is the tbond of uperfectness.
