1 Thessalonians 5:18–20

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt

19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. 20 Do not scoff at prophecies,

18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies.

18 and give thanks whatever happens. That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not hold back the work of the Holy Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecy as if it were unimportant.
