1 Then I looked up, and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 I asked, “Where are you going?”

He answered me, “To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.”

1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

1 When I looked again, I saw a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 “Where are you going?” I asked.

He replied, “I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”

1 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 So I said, “Where are you going?”

And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

1 Then I looked up and saw a man holding a line for measuring things. 2 I asked him, “Where are you going?”

He said to me, “I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”

1 And I looked up and I saw, and look, a man, and in his hand was a measuring rope! 2 And I asked, “Where are you going?” And he answered me, “To measure Jerusalem to see what is its width and what is its length.”

1 Then I looked up and saw a man. He was holding a measuring line. 2 “Where are you going?” I asked.

“To measure Jerusalem,” he answered. “I want to find out how wide and how long it is.”

1 Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2 So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.”
