it is fitting for the upright to praise him.

1 Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.

1 Sing to the Lord, you who do what is right;

honest people should praise him.

1 Rejoice in Jehovah, O ye righteous:

Praise is comely for the upright.

1 Exult, ye righteous, in Jehovah: praise is comely for the upright.

1 Joyfully sing to the Lord, you righteous people. 

Praising ⸤the Lord⸥ is proper for decent people.
